Breaking News : Facebook will be shut down by March 15

Facebook will be shut down by March 15

For the past few days, there is a rumor circulating that the world’s most subscribed network, facebook, will be shut down by March 15 this year.

No major reasons have been stated yet concerning this shut down. But information gathered from some reliable sources indicates that there might be a law suit to force a shutdown of facebook. Some individuals who have stated reasons why the existence of facebook is a minus to the world are planning on seeking legal action against the web giants.

As of this publication, no official information has been released on this matter by facebook. I urge all my readers not to panic as I delve deep to get more information on this matter.

A-Plus Pulls Gun At Omotuo Party

A-Plus Pulls Gun At Omotuo Party

According to incoming reports, just when all seemed to be happening large at the second edition of the Omutuo Party, a huge fight which resulted in the pulling of a gun hit the roof.

And the man at the herm of the fight was no other person then the controversial Hip-life star, A-Plus. The event brought together nearly 3000 vibrant young men and women.

The atmosphere was soaked in the jamboree hosted at Leisure Spot in Tema on Sunday when the episode happened. Just about 10 meters away from the stage, A-plus could be seen wielding his firearm which resulted in a stampede injuring at least 10 people.

According to another popular Hip Life artiste (name withheld) who was in the company of A-Plus when the incident occurred, his counterpart was incited to pull the gun to scare the mob which had attacked them.

“We were attacked by some boys and A-plus sensing danger pulled the pistol to scare them from attacking us”, he told Selase Attah.

When a daring photo-journalist tried to take a picture of the action, A-Plus ordered his boys to attack him. His lens was broken and his memory card seized.

As if the police at the event were star struck, they looked on as it all happened. According to organizers, A-Plus was not billed to perform at mammoth event.

Ghana Porn Again?

Ghana Porn? The Truth about Ghana girl Ivy in Porn Movie

Of late there has been a video circulating showing “Ivy” a Ghanaian girl in a brutal “porn” movie. Having recently been retained, together with the Law Firm of Davidson & Cohen, NY to represent Ivy, we would like, with her permission, to caution other Ghanaian girls in the United States who may be approached on the train, in the bus or at school by a stranger with the promise of a modeling career.
There are scouts out there looking for young girls to deliver to the extreme pornography industry where these girls are drugged, gang-raped and videotaped for sale on the internet. These scouts pass around business cards with seemingly legitimate business names.

Nothing on the business card or in their appearance will tell you what they do until they whisk you away and the doors close behind you. Many a girl who have gone for photo shoots for a modeling portofolio have been raped.
The only mistake Ivy made that fateful day was entering the car of a white man she had met earlier in the day, who was to take her to his studio for pictures and a video shoot for a modeling portofolio. As anyone who saw the video can tell, she is lucky to be alive.

We also intend, in this message, to educate the general Ghanaian public about what happened, especially those who have already made up their minds. We would first of all like to point out that what people saw on the edited 48 minute video, was neither sex nor pornography but a young girl who was being brutally raped by several white men.

This was after she was driven to an isolated location out of State at night, drugged, and her cellular phone seized. The video has a man voice directing each action. Nothing on the video showed consensual sex and we have yet to hear one person say that they were sexually aroused by what they saw. The general reaction has ranged from anger, to sleeplessness, to loss of appetite.
Some have been overcome by such emotion that they have not yet regained their composer. The question to ask oneself is this: If this was a normal pornographic video, why did the men hide their faces from the camera except for brief occasional glimpses?

The truth of the matter is that Ivy was riding the New York City Subway when a white man who was walking through the train remarked that she looked beautiful. He told her that she looked like the model type and that he could get her into modeling. He also gave her a business card and asked her to call. The man represented to Ivy that he had helped get several girls like her into modeling and that he had access to several magazines.

A naive Ivy was ecstatic. Later that day, she called the man, who then told her that an aspiring model who was to come to his studio that day for a photo and video shoot had called off at the last minute and that if she wanted to get her foot in the door, she could come over as her replacement. Ivy agreed and the man drove over to pick her up. To make Ivy feel relaxed, the man picked up another lady (white or Hispanic) who he introduced as his wife and assistant and the person who will be applying the make-up and dressing her up for the pictures. The woman turned out to be an accomplice in the sordid scheme.
The long and short of it is that the man who met Ivy on the train was a scout whose mission was to find black girls to be delivered to a group of sick and probably racist white men to be raped and tortured and the whole thing captured on video for sale on the internet.

On their web site, they insult the girls that have fallen into their trap and boast about how they have broken them down and pulverized them.
Those Ghanaians who saw the video and knew right away that Ivy looked drugged, mechanical and was not a voluntary participant had the right instinct. Our hope is that others who concluded that Ivy voluntarily went to do a porn video and ended up being abused, will change their mind or at least keep an open mind after hearing the other side of the story.

To those who say that she should have refused or offered resistance, we have some questions to ask. Ask yourself; If you are tricked to an isolated location at night, your cell phone seized, doors locked behind you, with no knowledge of where you are and you are surrounded by six huge men telling you to cooperate or else, are you going to offer any resistance or are you going to do whatever it takes to come home alive?

How did you know that Ivy did not resist, if you have not watched the whole unedited video? Do you believe that only 48 minutes of video was shot or do you think that the video was longer but edited to 48 minutes? If you believe that the video was longer than 48 minutes, do you think that these individuals, who would not show their faces, would include portions that will show Ivy resisting? Have you seen any porn movie where the men hide their faces?
This case has just began, and as her attorneys we are determined to do everything in our power to bring the perpetrators to justice and to ensure that it does not happen to other innocent girls. Like the rapist who videotapes the encounter and keeps a copy of the tape, in the end, their own video will be the strongest evidence against them.

We implore those Ghanaians who are duplicating and selling the video to think of the consequences of their action. What they are doing is profiting from the rape and torture of a fellow Ghanaian and a young girl in her prime who could be their sister or daughter. We hope that their conscience will guide them to desist from such action.

In the same vein, we also implore Ghanaian African stores in the New York City Metropolitan area to desist from selling the tapes. If you know of anyone selling the video please call my office or send me an email. Your identity will be protected.
Let us all join in this fight for justice for our fellow Ghanaian citizen on this 50th Anniversary of our Independence.

How To Stop Procrastinating

How To Stop Procrastinating

It is said that everybody procrastinates, but not everyone is a procrastinator. "A procrastinator is someone who habitually and consistently delays tasks," he explains. That's about 20% of the population. Research has shown that the number holds around the world, in countries as far flung as Venezuela, Poland, Australia and Saudi Arabia. Hardcore procrastinators should head straight to a therapist, preferably someone who practices cognitive behavioral therapy. "You can unlearn to do things".

For the rest of us, who engage in occasional delaying tactics, lateness or putting off until tomorrow what we know we should do today, there are lots of no-nonsense, research-tested suggestions. Though it's good to try to figure out why you postpone tasks--fear of failure, the myth that you work best under pressure-- believeing in getting on with things.

For instance, keep a to-do list, and update it often. Set your priorities, and tackle the most urgent matters first. After the most pressing tasks, do the worst jobs next. Putting them off will just make your whole workload seem more impossible. Also, set realistic goals and deadlines.

The notion that computers and cellphones make it harder for us to get work done is not entirely true. We just need to manage our technological distractions. Check your e-mail once an hour only. Don't follow up or answer an e-mail unless it's necessary. Don't open one when you don't have time to read it. Quickly delete messages to get them out of your inbox.

At work figure out who your most productive colleagues are, and team up with them. "Work in teams". "Surround yourself with non-procrastinators." Try modeling yourself after a colleague who gets a lot done. Everyone loves flattery. Pull your highest-producing colleague aside and ask if you might shadow her for a time. She'll probably say yes.

Do stay on task. If you return from a meeting to an inbox full of requests, get done what you already needed to get done before dealing with all those new assignments.

Kwabena Kwabena marries again!!!

Kwabena Kwabena marries again!!!

Silky voice contemporary high-life crooner Kwabena Kwabena, real name George Kwabena Adu, has tied the knot over the weekend at the forecourt of His Majesty's (HM) in La, a suburb of Accra. View photos from Kwabena Kwabena's wedding here

The less publicized event which appeared to be strictly for family members and close associates, began in the afternoon of Sunday December 12, and traveled late into the evening. View View photos from Kwabena Kwabena's wedding here

The day saw Kwabena Kwabena and his true-love Abena Owusuwaa being joined together in holy matrimony. Peacefmonline.com investigations unearth that the two got engaged in a brief ceremony at the residence of the singer’s new mother-law.

Unlike the usual wedding ceremony held in churches, the couple then proceeded to HM where they exchanged vows, rings and received blessings by a priest to officially become husband and wife.

The newly wedded couple, with excitement written all over their faces, shared passionate kisses to affirm their endless commitment to each other.

Some of the dignitaries present at the “Asor” singer’s special day included: New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his wife Rebecca, former MP for Ablekuma Central Kwamena Bartels, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) of Radio Gold, Special Aide to former President Kufour, Mr. Kwakye, NPP MP for Evalue-Gwira, Catherine Afeku, Lawyer Nana Asante Bediatuo, NPP MP for Manhyia Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Frances Essiam among others.

Madam Rebecca Akufo-Addo, the new couple and Nana Akufo-Addo at the wedding.

Kwabena Kwabena first met Abena who is believed to be a staunched NPP youth activist and once worked as a staff of Nana Akufo-Addo during the 2008 electioneering campaign.

That was when the sultry singer was signed on by the then ruling NPP as one of the music icons for their campaign. Kwabena had by then parted company with his first wife, Esther.

The two (Kwabena and Esther) got married at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Kwashieman in Accra, but went their separate ways barely a year into the marriage.

When the marriage was dissolved, Esther allegedly blamed Kwabena’s alleged love affair with Abena as the genesis of her marital woes.

But Kwabena Kwabena rather blamed the breakdown of the marriage on his ex-wife Esther who he claims gave too much ear to tale bearers. He said Esther often worked herself into a frenzy over things people tell her, which were mostly false.

According to Kwabena Kwabena, when the former wife could not bear the pain she was persistently inflicting on herself, she carried the tales which she interpreted as bad treatment to other family members. That marriage was blessed with an issue though, a male child to be precise.

Meanwhile, he is reported to have a child with another lady called Priscilla, a resident of Pigfarm, a suburb in Accra.

Born in Accra on 17th October 1978, Kwabena Kwabena attended Datus Complex situated at Bubuashie and when the family relocated to Achimota, he enrolled at Green Hill School and later to Aggrey Junior Secondary School for his basic education. He completed St. Peter's Secondary School in Nkwatia Kwahu in the Eastern Region some years back.

For his Tertiary Education, Kwabena Kwabena schooled at the Accra Polytechnic. The “Donobi” hitmaker has three albums to his credit “Asor”, “Dabi” and currently being played on the airwaves “Bibini”.

For now Kwabena Kwabena is happily married to black beauty Abena Owusuwaa. Aside their name Abena and Kwabena, which means they were both born on a Tuesday, the two love birds also share something in common.

They both have a son from their previous affairs.

Peacefmonline is reliably informed that Abena had a son with Board Chairman of the Ghana Sports Council and Publisher of Agoo Magazine, Kojo Bonsu. Peacefmonline congratulates Kwabena Kwabena and his new wife, now Mr. and Mrs. Adu.

Spare me your wife or sister for some powerful bouts of Sex

Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, has responded to talks that he is an impotent man. “I am surprised that people are saying am impotent. I have stated in a section of the media that after I was maltreated by soldiers during the revolutionary days, I had a problem with my erection; because of this, people have misconstrued that I am impotent.
I would be very happy if those ‘doubting Thomases’ challenging my potency would spare me their wives or sisters to experience some powerful bouts of sex,” Kweku Baako disclosed on ’The Probe’, a programme on GTV.
Mr. Baako started emphatically on the programme that he was not impotent, saying his wife, Isha, is currently pregnant. Indeed, News-One can confirm that this is the second time Mr. Baako has impregnated his new wife. The baby would be Kweku’s third child.
The Editor-in-chief explained that when he was captured by the soldiers and sent to the 49 Engineer Regiment, he was hit several times on the waist with the butt of the gun and this affected his erection after he was released. He said with the passage of time, the situation normalized to an extent that he could cause ‘chaos’ on his sex bed.
When news broke that Mr. Baako had married a sexy damsel of Islamic origin, his political critics started spreading rumors that he was impotent and could not impregnate his wife. At that point, not many people knew he had a teenage daughter.
Again, when it became public that Mr. Baako had for the second time impregnated his wife, talks of his alleged impotency surfaced in certain circles, prompting the host of ‘The Probe’ to ask him to respond to the issue.
